No Stress Online Passover Shopping

Well when writing this blog post it is just under 30 days to go to the first Seder Night.
Here at Divrei Kodesh we have been searching for the most useful and well made Judaica for our customers.
Some of our past suppliers have now moved on to other areas, and because of the last few years of financial uncertainty some companies have cut back their lines.
We decided to seek out and stock a range of Traditional and Modern Passover items, with one view and that is to only stock one of each item. This applies to our Seder and Matzah plates only, and with all the Toys , books and accessories we have ample stock.
So the deal this year is, if you see something that catches your eye snap it up as there is only one.

All Kit-ed out for Chanukkah

This year we are offering Chanukkah Menorah kits which should fit most budgets.

With each Menorah kit you will have a Menorah and a pack of Coloured candles.

We have chosen a modern lineup this year.

Also on offer is a set of Easy Light ready Oil for your oil Menorah. The dia for the holder has to be at least 6mm to hold the oils.

Silver lining is not so solid

For some months now we have been offering silver plated candlesticks made by Haddad Bros. in Israel.
The workmanship is of the highest calibre and if I would not tell you what it was made of you could be fooled thinking it was solid silver.
Here is a sample of what we have.

The Quest is in!

Glitzy and very lavish Judaica Made exclusively for the US market is now featuring at our bricks and mortar showroom.
Though not cheap at all the Judaica is well made with silver and gold plating with real crystal gems and enamel paint.
Some off the items would bring colour and vibrancy to any Jewish home.

Chanukah judaica arriving

I know for most of you Yom Kippur is coming fast! And the thought of sitting in the Succah for a week with you guests and family uplifting. Well we here at Divrei K are sorting out our Menorahs Dreidels and Chanukkah candles.
Over the next few weeks I will be updating the website with Chanukah Judaica.

Reinventing the Challah Board

For some time now my customers have been asking for a fresh design of Challah Bread Board.
I have come across a few variants but the most exquisite are very pricey.
We recently got in the Etz Chayim tree range, crafted from different wood, some are a cut-through with the age rings, whilst some are cut lengthways giving a square edge and each board is unique in shape and size no two the same.
I have decided to add a few to the website. To be added on the 19th of September.
The prices start at £85. The board comes without a knife.

When old style is the best style

In clothing there are fashion trends, style and colour are influenced by culture and the general mood of the time. Judaica is quite different where most people are looking for a certain iconic feature displayed in the item that resembles somewhat the theme of the Judaica. A Chanukia would follow a basic design that is typical to what is depicted in most symbolic drawings of a Menorah.
When artists venture off the grid and come up with some conceptual piece of modern Art it takes a lot of convincing to bring the public around to host these objects in their homes.
We have therefore taken this into consideration when compiling our own collection of Judaica for this years Chanukah season.
